Our Lady’s High School in Motherwell marked its 150th anniversary with a special Mass at Motherwell Cathedral, led by Bishop Toal.

The cathedral was filled with current and former staff, head teachers from associated primary schools, and staff from many other North Lanarkshire secondary schools.

One of the highlights of the evening was the beautiful music provided by the school choir, thanks to the hard work of Mark McVeagh and the music department.

During the service, two long-serving members of staff, Anne O’Donnell and Lynn Zambonini, were honoured with the Diocesan Medal for Services to Catholic Education.
